Brief: Landscaping and refurbishment of existing outdoor courtyard. This courtyard was fully enclosed and the hospital was a working environment throughout the works. The brief was to create a cheerful outdoor space for patients to sit and enjoy.

Features:

• Colourful planters were installed and painted bright colours to bring colour into the enclosed space.
• Comfortable, colourful seating areas were created and paving was laid to meander throughout the courtyard.
• Planters & ground level flowerbeds were filled with an array of plants to bringgrowth and colour at different times of the year.
• Due to the lack of natural light, both wall lighting and bollard lighting was installedthroughout the courtyard.
• An outdoor table tennis table was also installed for patients to freely use.
